StarGate Atlantis Over but not forgotten

So last week the final episode of Stargate Atlantis aired. To much shagrin it was actually fairly bland but a bit fantastic--the wrath getting a ZPM and building a super ship? I would have liked to see some of the personal relationships getting wrapped up, such as between Shepard and Tala, or Ronin and his new flame (they elude to this by her appearing at his bedside at the end of the episode). Also putting Atlantis back on Earth puts the future of Atlantis not in the Pegasus galaxy but in the Milky Way? Ah, well, it's over, I've yet to see a good Scifi series come to an end (heck look at Sliders and what a mess that was--they couldn't even bring back Jerry O'Connell in the last season!).

I too was disappointed. Perhaps they will go the way of SG-1 and do a straight-to-video movie?
Sliders... I stopped watching that shortly after they killed off Arturo. They really jumped the shark after that. I hear that by the end of the show only Rembrandt was around from the original cast.
At least we're about to get what is shaping up to be an exciting ending for Battlestar Galactica, for what it's worth.
Unfortunately Rembrandt was the only one to have remained, but they could have taken it into several more seasons if they kept Jerry on the series.
I'm hesitant to watch the two new episodes on DVR for Battlestar Galactica in fear that they will start something great, only to have it all taken away by the series coming crashing to an end. Ah well, all good things must come to an end!
The season premiere is insane... The 2nd episode was a little more low-key, but from the looks of it things are really going to pick up. I've heard nothing but positive feedback, so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for an amazing (if not necessarily happy) ending.
